Pollock
From WikiDelia
One of Delia's Attic Tapes is labelled Pollock and contains "shimmery sound effects".
There seems to be no mention of Pollock in her papers.
The BBC broadcast a radio programme about Jackson Pollock on 30 December 1970:[1]
Six Modern Artists BBC Radio 3, 30 December 1970 19.00 Synopsis 5: Jackson Pollock 1 continue to get further away from the usual painters' tools. I prefer sticks, trowels, knives and dripping fluid paint.... JOHN GOLDING discusses Pollock's achievement with reference to four of his paintings. Produced by JUDITH RUMPUS
but a paper in tape DD202's box says:
“Sound Negative Report” 21.2.74 Prod. Company, 8, 9, 10 Production: Pollock Type of stock and Emulsion No. Zonal System: K Special Lab Instruc. 16/2 be from 7½, 2103/22 Tx take 2, music, tracks 210’/16 mm Zonal signed MJ Parrish
which suggests that it was for a film, created after her BBC years, and was not used.
