The [[Plainsong Antiphon]] is a source recording used by Delia to create the echoed choral opening to [[Rorate Coeli]], the second movement of [[Invention for Radio]] no.2, [[''Amor Dei'']].

"The original recording is labeled in the script for the work as "Plain Song Antiphon, unaccompanied"<ref>[[Special Sound]] note 66, which adds "Back, band 1, Lib. No. LP 27101."</ref> and is credited as
''Plainsong Antiphon'' to "[[John Hahessy]] (boy soprano)" in the Radio Times entry for its first broadcast on 16-Nov-1964.

The book [[Special Sound]] discusses Delia's audio transformations of it for [[Rorate Coeli]].
